How It All Began
It started in 2026 when our founder, Sumeet Kumar, visited a walnut farm in Himachal Pradesh and was struck by how different freshly harvested nuts tasted compared to what was available in stores.
Most packaged nuts travel through multiple warehouses, sit on shelves for months, and are treated with preservatives to extend shelf life. Sumeet wanted something better — for his family and for yours.
Today, Fond of Nuts works directly with a network of 12 farms across India, sourcing almonds from Jammu & Kashmir, cashews from Goa and Kerala, walnuts from Himachal Pradesh, and pistachios from Rajasthan.

We source directly from farmers we know by name. No brokers, no warehouses — shorter supply chain means fresher nuts and fairer pay for farmers.

High-altitude orchards at 1,800m elevation. Harvested September–October.
Cashews
Coastal farms with rich laterite soil. Harvested March–May.
Walnuts

Arid-zone farms with traditional cultivation. Harvested July–August.
